Traveler Warlock[edit]

Warlock Subclass

Warlocks who forge this pact usually find one of two types of patrons. Powerful beings who have been locked away who seek escape or wish to live vicariously through those with whom they make pacts. The Other tend to be Beings that are simply the embodiment of Exploration.

Traveler

At 1st level, your movement speed increases by 10 feet and increases by 5 more feet at the following warlock levels [ 6, 10, 14] This movement is added to any speed available to you(walking, swimming, climbing)

also, when determining your jump distance, you may use your charisma instead of your strength score.

Well Traveled

Also at 1st level, You gain proficiency in two languages of your choice as well as proficiency in cartographer's tools, and when you make any skill check to gain directions or discover doors or paths, you may do so with advantage.

Traveler Spells
the following spells are added to your class's spell list
Pact Spells
1st Longstrider Jump
2nd Nystul's Magic Aura Kinetic Jaunt
3rd Sending Blink
4th Greater Invisibility Leomund's Secret Chest
5th Passwall Tree Stride
Eager To Travel

Upon Reaching 6th level in this class, you can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Charisma modifier.

Free Spirit

Also at 6th level, you can use your bonus action to entreat your patron to open any non magical lock you touch (as if casting a warlock touch spell), such as doors, restrains, chests, etc. You may use this ability on non magical rope or chains to cause a single break in the rope or chain. You have have a number of uses of this feature = your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses at the end of a long rest. You may also use this ability to end the grabbled, restrained, or swallowed condition. Additionally you can add your Charisma bonus to your initiative rolls.

Eldritch Movement

Once you reach 10th level in this class. You fully ignore all difficult terrain, and you gain the ability to travel up and down vertical surfaces as if they were ground; So long as you are in contact with the surface, gravity seems to pull you and everything on your person in that direction , thus allowing you to just stand or sit on a vertical wall or ceiling. You can also stand on liquid surfaces with this ability while conscious if you choose, though you can still be pulled under. If you are subject to an effect that forces you prone while using this ability, you fall as normal

Path Maker

At 14th level, you learn the Arcane Gate spell, if you don't already know it, and when you cast Arcane Gate it has the following benefits:

  • both portals can be placed up to 500 feet away from you, and you can orient one or both portals however you wish. (including facing up or down)
  • they need not be close to the ground, but should be anchored near a solid 10 foot diameter surface and not in midair.
  • the portals can be placed anywhere you have seen in the last minute.
  • You can choose to make the portal openings non-opaque such that you can see through it like a window.

Additionally you can cast this spell once without expending the use of your Mystic Arcanum, and you regain the ability to do so at the end of a long rest.
