Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement)

This set of armor is composed of a compact material infused with magic and a sense of battle spirit in order for the one wearing it to absorb much punishment from various forms of weaponry.

As an action when wearing this armor, you can empower this suit to gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage as a surge of fighting vigor flows through you and you gain temporary hit points equal to one of your hit dice rolled + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). This lasts for 1 minute and hit points gained in this way disappear after the duration. Due to this fighting vigor, your mind is focused on getting in close with a weapon. Before you cast a spell, you must make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC of 8 + your proficiency bonus + your highest ability score modifier. On a success, you may cast the spell normally. On a failure, you do not cast the spell, but you use your action, bonus action, or reaction depending on the spell you cast if it uses either of those actions.

Once this property has been used, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.
