Armor (light, medium, or heavy), rare (requires attunement)

Arcane runes seem to glow along the surface of the armor. The coloration of these runes change in correspondence with an element. While you wear this armor, you have a +1 bonus to your AC. The item comes with 1d4+1 charges and can hold up to 5 charges. When you're hit with a melee attack and the attacker is within range of your unarmed strike, you may, as a reaction, spend 1 charge to make an unarmed strike against your attacker. On a successful hit, you deal damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. The type of this damage is of the same type as your chosen Elemental Selection. This item regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn.

Element Selection You may choose an element from the list below when you first craft this armor or chosen at random if found while adventuring. The runes on the armor change to the corresponding color of the element you choose. To change this selection, the armor must be brought to an artificer and modified for at least 1,000 gold. The process of changing out the runes may take up to a week.

  • Red = Fire
  • Orange = Poison
  • Yellow = Radiant
  • Green = Acid
  • Light Blue = Cold
  • Purple = Necrotic
  • Black = Force
