Medium construct, unaligned Armor Class 20 (plate, shield)
Skills Perception +0 Antimagic Susceptibility. The armor is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the armor must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute. False Appearance. While the armor remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal suit of armor, normal sword, and normal shield. As a bonus action, the armor can move the sword and shield up to 50 feet towards itself if they are placed near it. ACTIONSMultiattack. The armor makes two melee weapon attacks. The armor can then attempt to shove a creature within 5 feet of itself with its shield as a bonus action, and gains advantage for that shove check. Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 2) slashing damage. Once during its turn, the armor may add a +2 to one attack or damage roll made using this weapon. Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage. Sword-Shield Surf. The armor interlocks its sword and shield, then balances atop them. The sword and shield have a fly speed of 50 feet so long as all three objects occupy the same space, but the armor cannot benefit from any action or reaction involving its sword or shield while in this state, and its ac is 18. The armor may return its sword and shield to its hands as a bonus action afterwards. REACTIONSThe armor has three reactions, each option can only be used only once a round and only one reaction can be used each turn. Shield Block. If the armor is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it can use this reaction to take no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, interposing its shield between itself and the source of the effect. Sword Parry. If the armor is targeted by an attack roll, it can use this reaction to increase its ac by 2 against that attack roll by deflecting the attack with its sword. Sword-Shield Rush. If no creature is within 30 feet of the armor but a creature ends its turn within the armor's blindsight, the armor is lifted by its flying sword and flying shield up to 30 feet in any direction as though by a fly speed. |
An Animated Armor that arms itself with a Flying Sword and Flying Shield to enhance its combat prowess. The movements of the sword and shield add extra power and finesse to the knight's attacks and defensive maneuvers as though they were one creature. |
