Arcane Arrows (5e Equipment)

Cost: 25 GP These arrows are mundane, except for the arrowheads which are marked with mysterious symbols. A creature who can cast spells may, as an action, channel a spell with a range of touch into the arrow. Doing so requires a DC (10 + the spells level) Arcana check. A creature who is hit by this arrow suffers the effects as if the spells had been cast on them. When a spell of 1st level or higher is inflicted on a creature, roll a D20. On a number equal to or lower than 10 + the spells level, the arrow is destroyed beyond repair. The arrow loses any spells it contains after 24 hours, or if the caster dies or regains any spell slots. |
