Effect: The burst creates a cloud of darkness that remains in place until the end of Arannis's next turn. The cloud blocks line of sight, squares within it are totally obscured, and creatures entirely within it are blinded until they exit. Arranis is immune to these effects.
Warlock's Curse
Effect: The nearest enemy that Arannis can see is cursed. He can only perform this action once per turn. Once per round, when he attacks an enemy under his warlock's curse, he can deal an extra 1d6 points of damage to that enemy.

Arannis is the child of a male eladrin and a female drow- a rare combination among half-drow. Even rarer still, he was born of a genuine loving relationship, something all but unheard of among drow. Though he did not have to endure the torment of the underground society of the drow, he did not fit in with the eladrin he grew up with. As a result he became aloof, and fell into darkness. As he wandered alone, Lolth appeared to him and offered him power. He accepted without question, but immediately regretted his decision, for he knew the path before him would have a terible price. He has yet to admit his foolish mistake to his mother and father, and he fears how they will react.
