Angra Mainyu[edit]

Atar (fire), a primary symbol of Zoroastrianism

Alignment. Chaotic Evil
Domains. Trickery, Destruction, Darkness
Divine Rank. Lesser Deity

"Angra Mainyu is the god of darkness, the eternal destroyer of good, personification and creator of evil, bringer of death and disease. He is also known as Ahriman, and his name means "fiendish spirit," or "destructive spirit." He is seen as the personification of evil, he leading the dark forces against the hosts of Spenta Mainyu, the holy spirit, who assisted Ahura Mazda, the wise lord, and final victor of the cosmic conflict."

Followers of Angra Mainyu are warriors of chaos, bringing death to those who are unworthy, in an attempt to win over Angra Mainyu's good grace. Of course, Angra Mainyu cares not for these mere mortals all that deeply, but is pleased by their devotion.
