Medium monstrosity (anchor), lawful evil Armor Class 16 (arcane runes)
Saving Throws Dex +6, Cha +7 Savage Attacks. When the anchangel scores a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, they can roll one of the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit. Relentless Endurance. When the anchangel is reduced to 0 hit points, they drop to 1 hit point instead. Unflinching. A critical hit on the anchangel is treated as a regular hit. Arcane Runes. The anchangel has AC of 16 and has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks (included in stats). Loses this if subjected to the effects of dispel magic or under the effects of antimagic field, regaining the effect after 1 minute. Innate Spellcasting. The anchangel is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). The anchangel has the following spells prepared: 1st (4 slots): searing smite, thunderous smite, wrathful smite ACTIONSMultiattack. The anchangel makes two warhammer attacks. Warhammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage or 9 (1d10 + 4) if used with two hands. Bolster (1/Day). The anchangel chooses itself and up to 5 allies within 60 feet of it. For 1 minute each creature gains +1 to AC and attack rolls and increases movement speed by 10 feet. BONUS ACTIONSAggressive. The anchangel moves up to its speed toward a hostile creature that it can see. REACTIONSResistance (Recharge 5-6). When subjected to damage, the anchangel can halve damage taken. |
A powerful warrior who cruises through the skies on wings of dark red blood. They have no hearts (their blood is pumped through the natural contraction of their veins), no lungs (oxygen is absorbed through their skin) and no brains (their brain cells are scattered throughout their body), and powerful magic empowering runes engraved into their iron laced bones. Because of these modifications they can swoop in from nowhere at great speed to wreck havoc upon their enemies. |
