Altar of Malcanthet: This altar is a wine red, burgundy and purple marble slab engraved with images of the acts of intimacy and back stabbing betrayals, sometimes at the same time, and includes a false cover of a good aligned Deity of the commissioner's choice. It is usually built into the floor or a wall so that it can be easily concealed when not in use.

Any creature (not just a worshipper of Malcanthet) may pray at the altar, though accepting the altar’s blessing is both an evil and chaotic act. Prayer must include an act of intercourse or spilling some of the blood of an ally in order to receive Malcanthet’s blessing.

Praying at the altar grants a +4 morale bonus on saves against charm effects and a +2 circumstance bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy, and Sense Motive checks; in addition, the worshipper selects one spell-like ability they can use and may use it one additional time per day. This effect lasts for 24 hours.

Construction Requirements: Craft Wondrous Item, magic circle against good, charm, false alibi, creator must worship Malcanthet; Cost 4,000 gp.
Slotless; Altar

Strong CE Enchantment; CL 21; Weight: 750
