Gods exist to be followed, but since the advent of humans, who change much in their short lifespans, it has sometimes become necessary for gods to follow their followers. Thus it happened that Corellon Larethian, patron deity of the elves, assumed a female elven form and visited Fharlanghn, the god of travel. The child of this union, Allvyn Lareth was the first half-elf among the gods, and he adopted his chosen people, far too often disowned or excluded by their mortal kin.

Dogma[edit]

Allvyn's goal is to bring respect and purpose to the lives of his young race. He is a benevolent god and takes in all but truly evil half-elves as followers. Allvyn is a progressive god who perhaps more than any other represents the changes that face the elven nations and their need for solidarity with humans in the future; therefore a few elves and humans, especially those related to half-elves follow him. Allvyn is, of course, interested in music, art, and nature, but his priority is in politics, cultural exchange, and adventure; like his father Fharlanghn, he is a restless god.

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Mainly half-elves worship Allvyn Lareth, and since half-elves have no established nation or cities, Allvyn has no established church; many of his clerics are adventurers, representing their faith and race. Travle outposts in civilized territory often have clerics of Allvyn working side-by-side with those of Fharlanghn. There also tend to be temples to Allvyn in major elvish cities or human cities with half-elven populations, and prominent citizens may be heard to proclaim their devotion to Allvyn's goals.
