A part of the Duality&Dice 5e Homebrew, special little abilities at the cost of Chalk

Alchemy List[edit]

Nigredo[edit]

Prerequisites: Intelligence Score of at least 15.

Alchemy of which can be learned by any beginner. The simplest form. You gain the following abilities.

Currency Shifter[edit]

Cost: 100 Chalk

Ratashi has always been a catalyst for alchemy, nobody seems to know why but hey, might as well indulge.

  • As an action, you can transform an object that you own into it's direct value in Ratashi.

Albedo[edit]

Prerequisites: Intelligence Score of at least 26, Proficiency in Arcana.

Knowledge within the world of alchemy, which can take some even months to learn. You gain the following abilities.

Small Shift[edit]

Cost: 500 Chalk

Equivalent exchange, who knew that could allow the transferring of mass.

  • As a bonus action, you can swap the location of an object with another with a similar weight. Neither object can be larger than a 5ft cube.

Rubedo[edit]

Prerequisites: Intelligence Score of at least 30, Expertise in Arcana.

A stage in alchemy which some could only hope to reach in their lifetime. You gain the following abilities.

Transmutilation (Swap)[edit]

Cost: 1000 Chalk

A simple improvement upon translocating mass.

  • As a free action or a reaction, you may swap the locations of a creature, an object, or any mixture of two things within 120ft of you. You cannot swap locations of buildings or landmasses.

Structural Recreation[edit]

Cost: 1000 Chalk

Changing the structure of an object on an atomic level.

  • As a free action, you can change the molecular formatting of an object that can fit in your hands, changing what the material is made of. You cannot affect creatures or Zenire infused obects.

Citrinitas[edit]

Prerequisites: Intelligence Score of at least 50, Expertise and at least a +26 to Arcana.

The pinnacle of alchemical prowess. Reaching this level could potentially even rival the gods. You gain the following abilities.

Soul Transference[edit]

Cost: 500,000 Chalk

The ability to move even the life force of the soul, between two beings.

  • As an action, you can transfer hit points between two creatures you are touching (including yourself). You cannot drop a creature below 0 hit points in this way.

Transmutilation (Mutilate)[edit]

Cost: 500,000 Chalk

The true meaning to the name Transmutilation.

  • As an action, you can forcibly mutilate a creature dealing 80d12 damage to the creature and removing a piece of their body (not including the head) with a nearby object. The creature and object must both be within 30ft of you.

Zenire Recreation[edit]

Cost: 1,000,000 Chalk

  • As a bonus action, you can covert the used chalk into 30 Zenire. Zenire gained in this way cannot surpass your Zenrie maximum unless there are other features allowing it.
