Alchemical Grenade

Range: Self (60-foot radius)
Components: S, M (a crossbow or a firearm and a piece of ammunition)
Duration: Instantaneous


You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a ranged attack with it against one creature within 60 feet of you. You load the weapon with a special grenade filled with unstable alchemical mixtures and launch it at an enemy from the weapon. The weapon damage type changes to a random one. Roll a d6 to determine the attack's damage type, as shown below. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects.

2 Cold
3 Fire
4 Lightning
5 Poison
6 Thunder

At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the ranged attack deals an extra 1d8 damage to the target on a hit. The extra damage roll increase by 1d8 at 11th level (2d8) and 17th level (3d8).
