Age of Glass (Shard Ne'Vaal Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
The age following tumult was aptly named for its fragility. People simply grew incapable of fighting further, unable to pay more loss of life. They began to rebuild and cohere to a new, shattered life. As with hearts, when broken, they are often never put back together correctly. Such was the fate of most of the inhabitants of the new world of Shard Ne'Vaal. Their neighbors were all changed, and many grew reclusive and fearful. Good will was nowhere to be found as immense poverty and upheaval resulted in many destitute populations. Those who rose most notably were clans in the roots, as well as cities in the trunk and canopy. These became the few points of light of civilization in an otherwise dark and savage new world.
