Adaptive Ki
Prerequisites: Wisdom 13 or Higher
After training in many different biomes, you have honed your internal strength to manage in many different scenarios depending on inputs and needs.
- Your ki point maximum increases by 1. If you have no levels in monk, your ki points will recharge whenever you complete a short or long rest.
- You may cast a cantrip based on your surroundings. See the table to the side.
- You may expend 1 ki to cast a spell based on your surroundings. See the table to the side.
- You may expend 1 ki to remove a condition from yourself based on your surroundings, even while incapacitated. See the table to the side. May be used as an action or reaction.
In addition, you may manifest your mastery over variety in more practical ways:
- You gain proficiency in the Survival skill. If you are already proficient in the skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.
- If lost, you may expend 1 ki to reorient yourself and discover the direction to your destination.
- It takes you twice as long to gain a level of Exhaustion from hazardous conditions, traveling, or deprivation.
