Once but a normal mortal being in the infinite chaos of the time before the material plane, Aakronus soon found that his birth in the depths of nothingness granted him a remarkable level of control over reality. Aakronus could bend the very fabric of reality into anything he pleased.
His powers had one caveat, however: He could not manipulate magic or any object imbued with magic. This revelation of his weakness terrified him, and so he rallied all his followers into a horrific and zealous quest to destroy all traces of magic in the material plane. He lead his followers throughout the realms as their undying leader, taking the form of a towering giant in heavy steel armor, killing every being that dared defile his power with magic. Entire villages where mercilessly annihilated. His quest finally failed as all deities united to destroy his avatar and banish him from reality.
Aakronus was destroyed, and all that remained of him was his weakened consciousness, floating hopelessly through the astral plane until the day of his inevitable return, which will bring death and destruction all those who resist him. Aakronus floats endlessly through the astral plane in search of potential victims, looking for bodies he can use as a conduit of his will in the material planes, taking over their minds and altering their bodies to suit his purposes.
