A lanmola appears as a gigantic centipede-like worm between 15 and 30 feet in length, and is usually of a brown or green color. They can most often be found in caverns and dry mountainous terrain, where they create and burrow through complex labyrinths created by their digging mandibles. Almost any prey that wanders into their domain is quickly felled with a sudden pouncing bite from underground, chomping hard enough to cleave a goat in half. A group of two or three lanmola often patrol an area of shared habitat.

Instinctive Magic. For reasons unknown, a lanmola possesses minor magical ability it uses to manipulate space and force in a limited capacity. It uses this force to gain brief flight, and to flick rocks to hit far-off prey.
