Rune[edit]

Alignment. unaligned*
Domains. Light, War
Divine Rank. Greater Deity

Rune is one of the gods of The Dream from the Sanctuary's Lot Setting.

Second of the dream gods to manifest during the visitation, Rune has only ever appeared in full daylight, including four occurrences when Rune emerged immediately following a "second dawn" (a sudden, day-like light event at night).

Depicted as a faceless hooded figure in gold and black robes, carrying a gold chalice bearing a solar emblem.

Much more closely connected to the world and worldly matters than Sanctuary, and far more proactive in the perusal of the dark gods. Rune's followers often responds with swift, blinding violence at the discovery of dark priests and their servants.

Rune seems to exhibit a measure of disdain for all other powers, including the other dream gods.

1. the moral and ethical alignments of the gods of dream are incomprehensibly alien to mundane mortal minds
