Book RentalCost: 5 sp – 1 gp / year In pre-printing press cultures, books are unique items that take a significant length of time to copy. Libraries and private collectors may loan out a book for a duration of up to twelve months. This gives the borrower time to peruse the tome and to make one copy (for which he may also need to hire a scribe). |
