Glory on the battlefield, the thrill of combat, and the good of striking down of forces of evil. This is what Zeruel, God of Lightning and King of Braves. He is very different from the rest of the good deities of Nibiru, for his visage resembles that of a devil, or rather a Japanese oni of great height and girth, crackling with an electric aura and a mad toothy grin. He carries two large ribbons which form quasi-wings behind him. He is the foil of many myths, with him acting as hero. While he is only an intermediate deity he is said to command power beyond his rank.

Zeruel is a god of the Nibiru Pantheon.

Dogma

Battle evil for the safety of the world. Battle for glory and honor. Battle to make a difference in the world, and leave your name before you die. Others will remember you and you will be immortal in the world of the dead and the living. Those who die gloriously in battle are treated to a Valhalla-like heaven of combat and joy.

Clergy and Temples

Military forces pay homage to the King of Braves, even if his behavior tends to promote a little discord instead of orderly rank and file. He is good for morale. Many a heroic adventurer also takes strength in his name. Temples are found wherever a good fight is to be had.
