Hardness[edit]

For an Adamantine Greataxe, why wouldn't the Hardness be 20 and the HP 40? If you look at the Deep Crystal, Mundane Crystal, and Darkwood material sections, they all match the Hardness/HP for one inch. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.83.234.141 (talkcontribs) 2011-03-09 23:34. It's based on the haft of the weapon. The haft of an adamantine greataxe is still wood. Crystal greataxes are completely crystal, and (going strictly by the rules) darkwood doesn't apply because it's not a mostly wooden weapon. —Sledged (talk) 08:20, 10 March 2011 (MST)
