Dirches

He looks like a horned elf to me...
—Barkeeper, Speaking of a dirch

Personality

Normally sweet and gentle, but openly violent and undermining towards those who declare themselves enemies.

Their height averages around 5 feet for males, but females are generally more towards 6 feet. Males usually weigh about 200 pounds, while females tend more toward 250. Their skin is a pale-tan yet in bright light shimmers a slight red, betraying their demonic heritage. Eye color varies between a dark yellow to a rich brown. Two horns protrude backwards from their heads just behind their slightly pointed ears.

Relations

Dirches have an ancient grudge upon all things elven, but will not hold it against any elf in particular, they get along well with dwarves however are generally considered fragile by unfriendly dwarves. They admire tieflings for their similar demonic heritage (particularly good tieflings), but are uncomfortable with humans due to the human habit of stereotyping.

Dirches tend toward Chaotic Good, but occasionally there are evil dirches.

Generally underground, but since they are an offshoot of elves, they can be found anywhere there are elves.
