A dark bit of cloth dances in the strong wind at the top of the barn. It doesn't seem like anything, but the hair on the back of your neck is still standing up. Soon you see what that dark cloth was attached to: it looks like the specter of Death itself. It may have traded its scythe for a bow, but its glowing red eyes staring down promise death all the same.

Only a select few in the service of Dervaland are brought back to serve in its ranks as a Henger. These undead hunters are the bane of most mortal creatures, because they strike fear in the hearts of all. It's rumored they can find their prey by their soul alone.

Combat

Hengers usually travel at night in groups to make use of their superior vision, called lifesense, and their sneak attack ability. Melee flanking is reserved for weaker targets, only if a target is more trouble than first expected.
