Wondrous Item (Symbiote), artifact (Requires Attunement)

Inside A gallon jar of clear looking liquad
Upon opening the jar it will immediately lash out and touch the hand of the jar opener going through the skin via the pores. The symbiote then bonds to the circulatory system of the creature and replaces their blood over the course of an hour, granting them disadvantage on all Constitution and Intelligence checks for the duration as they feel as if their entire body is being burned with acid. After this process, their skin becomes darker and their blood oozes an oily black.

Whenever the creature is hit with a nonmagical weapon made of metal, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to Damage Rolls after dealing damage. If its penalty drops to -5, the weapon is destroyed. Nonmagical Ammunition made of metal that hits the creature is destroyed after dealing damage. If the attacker is within 5 ft., they take 1d6 acid damage, which is doubled if the attack caused them to make bodily contact with the creature (i.e. unarmed strike, tail attack, etc.).

Additionally, the symbiote can come out of your pores to protect you from attacks. You may cast the shield spell a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier, regaining all uses at midnight. Every time you do this, make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On failure, your Constitution score decreases by 1 until the end of your next short or long rest.

As a bonus action, the creature can also make the ooze come through their skin, causing their unarmed strikes to deal 1d6 + their Strength modifier acid damage until the end of their turn, or to cause any unarmed strikes of their choice they may already have to deal acid damage. If they hold the ooze against an object, they can melt through 1/2 inch of non-magical, non-adamantine, or non-mithral material with it per round.
