Runeblade
Fighter Subclass
A Runeblade harnesses the power of elemental runes to augment their weapon attacks.
- Runic Weapon
At 3rd level, you specialize in a rune, choosing from the options below. The rune is inscribed on one of your weapons.
As a bonus action, you can activate the rune on your weapon. The rune stays active for 1 minute, or until you end it as a bonus action. The rune's effect depends on which rune you choose.
If your rune's effects require a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.
Once you have used this trait, you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.
Fire. When this rune is activated, you deal an additional 1d4 fire damage when you hit with your runic weapon. You also gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level.
Frost. When this rune is activated, you gain resistance to non-magical piercing and slashing damage.
Storm. When this rune is activated, a creature you hit with your runic weapon must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the start of your next turn.
