Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: A weapon with +1 to hit is a bit too good, regardless of damage

The sporting fencing sword. The thin, single-edged blade has a chevron or V-shaped cross-section, with a fuller running down the its back edge. Higher society and more genteel cultures eventually began to impose laws upon dueling, limiting combat to the draw of first blood, not to the death. Suitably, the épée is intended for quick, shallow nicks and scratches, to bring the duel to a swift victory. The deep fuller, however, still lends the blade strength enough to kill if survival or murder is the aim.

Swift

If you are proficient with an épée, you have a +1 bonus to attack rolls made with it.
