Subchief

Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell, lizardfolk.
You are a devout worshipper of the Lizardfolk god Semuanya, allowing you to command his divine power in battle. This grants you the following benefits:

  • Your Wisdom score increases by 1
  • You can use your action to invoke the primal magic of Semuanya, summoning a spectral maw around a target you can see within 60 feet of you. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier, taking 2d8 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that fails this saving throw is also frightened until the end of its next turn. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest or until you spend a spell slot of 1st-level or higher.
