Path of the Hellion (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Path of the Hellion
Barbarian Subclass
This subclass is based on the Hellion class from The Darkest Dungeon, which focuses on strength combined with artful and dexterous movements.
- If It Bleeds
Starting when you choose this subclass at 3rd level, you learn to sacrifice consistency for skillful slashing and this feature replaces your Reckless Attack feature. Upon hitting with a melee weapon attack during your turn, you inflict bleed to the target, dealing Necrotic damage equal to your Dexterity Modifier + your Rage Damage to them at the start of their next turn. If the target is not in initiative, the damage is dealt immediately. This ability does not apply to constructs or anything non-organic, such as a brick house or a wooden table.
- Iron Swan
Beginning at 6th level, you learn to mix skillful movement with your brutal fighting. Before making your first attack as part of the Attack action, you can use the Iron Swan ability to increase the range of your Melee attacks to 15 feet until the end of your turn. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier (Minimum of one) per long rest.
- YAWP!
Beginning at 10th level, you can scream in the face of your enemies, rendering them startled. As an action, you can scream "YAWP!" and choose up to two creatures who can hear within 30 feet of you. They must roll a wisdom saving throw against your YAWP! DC, which equals 8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, a target is Stunned until the end of your next turn. Variant Rule: The player must also scream "YAWP!" out loud whenever this ability is used.
- Breakthrough
Beginning at 14th level, you can use your attack action to go beyond your limits to strike multiple enemies at once. As an action, choose up to 3 targets within 15 feet of you. Ignoring your normal attack range, you make a melee attack roll against each and inflict twice the bleed from the If It Bleeds feature to each target hit. After using this ability, you gain a level of Exhaustion.
