Hey it's the original creator. If there's anything wrong with the balance of the subclass or anything let me know! Heavy inspiration goes to The Darkest Dungeon, which I have no right over beyond fair use. DJ Biggs (talk)

The 10th level feature is a spammable free stun, and the 3rd level feature says "Them" instead of "The target" initially, but other than that it looks good. Nonen3477 (talk) 17:54, 24 January 2022 (MST)

Original creator back, I noticed an anonymous user had changed a couple of things in this subclass without permission, mostly in the “If it Bleeds” feature. This is fine, however it wasn’t in tune with my intention for the subclass. The way they phrased it, you would use If it Bleeds to cancel out having advantage on an attack so you could inflict the bleed damage. The real intent was to replace your “Reckless Attack” feature entirely meaning you trade having that consistent advantage and constant danger to self for more damaging strikes and later on in the subclass greater range with your melee attacks. This way, if you have advantage through means other than reckless attack you don’t just throw away that advantage state to apply the bleed. I sense this would also allow multiclassing with classes such as rogue to be more usable. All of this being said, I have gone through and fixed some of the grammar and formatting issues (side note: “Dextrous” and “Dexterous” are both acknowledged as the same word even though they’re spelled differently. My best guess is it’s a weird cultural thing.) and also made sure that If it Bleeds specifically does not apply to structures as that would be quite strange. --DJ Biggs (talk) 09:29, 2 April 2022 (MDT)

After some consideration of comments made, I’ve also gone ahead and changed the Yawp! ability to be limited not only in number of uses but in how often it can be used. To prevent using it as a total stunlock, I wanted to limit the usage of it to every other turn, however this would still be a stunlock if you have two level 10 Hellion Barbarians. Because of this, I’ve limited the uses of it to be equal to your proficiency bonus before taking a rest. This way, the longest you could stun a target using two Barbarians at level 10 is 8 times or 12 times at level 20. That being said, this strategy could also fall to the fact that the target would have that many chances to resist being stunned and that the Barbarians of the group, who are probably big damage dealers, are wasting their full action on a stun. If anyone knows a more elegant solution, please comment it here and if it’s decent I’ll see to it that it’s used instead. --DJ Biggs (talk) 09:43, 2 April 2022 (MDT)
