Innate Spellcasting. The starved man's innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 10). The starved man can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At Will: alter self, barkskin (self only), enhance ability (self only), expeditious retreat, jump (self only), longstrider (self only)
3/day each: polymorph, haste (self only)
1/day: true polymorph

Keen Hearing and Sight. The starved man has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.

Pounce. If the starved man moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the starved man can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Shapeling Arts. When the starved man casts true polymorph, it can change a creature into a form with a challenge rating 1 level higher by expending 5,000 gp worth of additional material components in the form of deep amber, amber which has passed hands or been circulated many times.
Additionally, the starved man can use an action and 1,000 gp worth of deep amber to alter the form of a creature it is touching; these alterations can increase or decrease an ability score by 1, increase or decrease the speed of an already present form of movement by 5 feet, add or remove a limb, replicate one of the effects of the spell alter self, or any other modification the GM deems commensurate with the given examples.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The starved man makes three attacks, which may be any combination of claw and slam attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d12 + 2) slashing damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d8) bludgeoning damage.

Humans which practice the shapelings art of the flukes of Axile to twist and contort their bodies into impossible shapes. They live on the ceilings of underground caverns, in homes and temples carved into stalactites. They often fight between each other for food and supplies, as well as for the deep amber they use to fuel their transformations.
Although no two starved men are the same, they are almost impossible to mistake: they may have fused joints, additional limbs, stretched fingers, mismatched eyes, stretched skin, or any number of other bizarre mutations.
