Vayne Carudas Solidor is the crown prince of the Archadian Empire. Charismatic and ambitious, he is equally capable of swaying the hearts of conquered peoples through speechcraft as he is of beating his enemies to death with his bare hands. Crusader Against the Divine. Vayne knows that the gods exist but considers them to be undeserving of worship. In his view, all gods are cruel puppet masters that manipulate mortals and sew chaos in pursuit of their own selfish agendas. Vayne wants nothing less than to rid the world of the influence of all divine beings so that the humanoid races will be free to decide their own fates, and he will plunge the whole world into war if that is what it takes to put the reins of history back in the hands of humankind. |
