The Ranger's are an Intelligence, Diplomatic, and Combat arm of your Kingdom. The common people believe that Rangers are magic-users but its simply great skill. You were selected to be a Ranger for your honesty, your Inquisitive nature, and your natural skills at move silently and hiding. As a Ranger you were taught to investigate crimes, lead troops during war, act as a diplomat for your kingdom, and rescue VIPs. During your time as an apprentice you were taught to use a bow, daggers for melee combat and throwing, and how to ride a horse. You trained under your Master Ranger until he deemed you ready to face the trials at the Gathering, a yearly event held to promote Apprentices to Full Rangers that tests their combat, investigative, survival and diplomatic skills. Once you passed your Gathering, you were posted in a county of your Kingdom to investigate crimes within its borders, catch criminals and if necessary try and pass sentences. The King's Rangers take care of pretty much anything that the king's army can not take care of. You are the final resort when things are at their worst, and the person turned to when any special mission arises. You are the Elite of the king's forces, the special forces team. You're handed a task and it gets done, no matter how difficult or how little you have to go on.
