Elemental Proficiency

Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell
Your proficiency with an element is at an level that all spells that you cast are are imbued by your element. You are able to transform the damage type of a spells in your preferred type, but you are unable to deal any other type of spell damage.

  • When you gain this feat, choose one of the following damage types: poison, acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder. Damaging spells you cast deal damage of the chosen type instead of their normal damage.
  • When you cast a spell that deals the damage of the chosen type, you ignore the target's resistance to the damage type. If the target is immune to the damage type, it is considered to have resistance instead of immunity and absorption is treated as immunity against your spell instead .
  • You gain resistance against the chosen damage type. If you already have resistance, you have immunity against the chosen damage type instead.
