The common gasper, also known as the "chomping" or "snapping" gasper, is a simple creature which roots itself someplace easily overlooked and seldom moves for any reason. The symbiotic worm which serves as its primary feeding mechanism, however, is rude and taunting, constantly goading nearby creatures in the hopes of luring them closer and securing its next meal. If possible, it prefers to swallow the head of its prey whole.
