Proficiencies

I thought you could only have 2 skill proficiencies and 2 tool proficiencies (or 1 tool and 1 language or 2 languages). This one has 3 skills and 1 tool and 2 languages. --63.142.81.74 16:52, 17 April 2019 (MDT)

  • Support. Interesting background, with features that represent the concept well. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:17, 10 December 2019 (MST)
  • Oppose — Although I do think that this background's features and theme are interesting, the 1st party background acolyte already allows you to create a pc who worships a lesser known deity without the need for being a cleric. As such, I am slightly more on the side of opposing this background instead of supporting it, as really, this background doesn't allow you to create any kind of new character concept.--Blobby383b (talk) 17:24, 7 April 2020 (MDT)
  • Oppose: I agree with Blobby that this is basically a more niche-version of the extant religious-themed backgrounds. The features are somewhat interesting for roleplay but it just feels like an acolyte warlock to me.--Yanied (talk) 10:48, 5 October 2020 (MDT)
