As he is one of the Endless he is the representation of all dreams and stories. he shows himself as a tall, pale man with dark navy hair and dresses in the cloak of night although his appearance changes depending on the being that looks on him and the era in which he is in. he is very adamant in completing his duties. He is a very humourless being, often not understanding sarcasm or jokes. He can also be insensitive and self-obsessed which may give some reason as to why he has had many failed romantic ventures. He has had a long lived rivalry with desire, which originates to desire involving themself in his romances.

He has been called by many names such as Kai'ckul, Morpheus and Oneiros.
