Weapon Channeler

Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell, Strength or Dexterity of 13 or higher
Your knowledge of spells and martial fighting allows you to cast touch spells through your melee weapon:

  • When you make a spell attack against a creature within your reach while holding a melee weapon that isn’t heavy, you can use your bonus action to substitute the spell attack with a melee weapon attack. On a hit, the attack deals normal damage, in addition to the effects of the spell. You must announce your decision to channel the spell before making the spell attack.
  • While holding a melee weapon, you can use your bonus action to charge it with arcane power. Doing so require concentration, as if you were concentrating on a spell. A charged weapon is considered magical for the purposes of ignoring resistance to nonmagical attacks and damage. In addition, you can use your spellcasting ability, instead of Strength or Dexterity, to make attack and damage rolls.
