Kettenhund 10 gp 1d6 piercing 8 lb. Thrown (20/40), Returning, Special

A pair of small, bear-trap-like jaws attached to a chain, kettenhund (literally translated as "chain dog") are popular among bounty hunters who need to take their target in regardless of their condition.

On successful hit with a kettenhund, you may initiate a grapple check against the same creature. On a successful grapple, you may initiate an additional grapple check against the grappled creature, dragging them 5 ft. toward you on a success, or nothing happening on a failure. The grappled creature may initiate an additional grappling check as a bonus action. On a success, the grapple ends. On a failure, they take 1d6 piercing damage.
