The Precog Frog is a rather strange specimen, found deep within the swamps. Generally sporting uninteresting greens and browns, the only visually interesting part of this amphibian seems to be it's abnormally large size, however, upon closer inspection, it seems to constantly excrete a clear mucus from its skin, which tends to cause it to glimmer in sunlight. However, to completely disregard it as a strange but unimportant creature is generally what the uneducated(and generally dead) seekers of massive frog legs tend to do. This thing that makes it a feared and curious creature is it's namesake, it's precognition. It is not known how it came to obtain it, as it shows no sign of meddling, divine or obscene. It somehow sees most actions before they happen, believed to be ten seconds ahead. This allows it to avoid both dangerous situations, and strike down prey before they even knows what happened. However, despite these miraculous traits, it's still an animal. While it's precognition certainly affects the way it fights, it fights solely to defend or feed itself, and will run away if things start to go poorly. While generally left alone and untouched, it is coveted for its mucus, which, when properly distilled, can be used in a drug that allows the user to see into the future, much alike the frog itself. |
