Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a character with at least 16 dexterity)

Mortal blades can no longer match your skill. You require a more fearsome blade, and Death provides to its greatest servant. Death has forged this sword from the very blade of his scythe and gifted it to you.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Reaper's Chosen

You have advantage on death saving throws.

When dropped to 0 hit points roll a d20. On a 20 you instead are dropped to 1 hit point.

You gain resistance to necrotic damage while attuned.

Reaper's Choice

As a bonus action, you may mark a target. the target will be under the effects of Hunter's Mark with the following additions. The target takes an additional 1d6 necrotic damage, and has disadvantage on Constitution saving throws. you may do this a number of times equal to your dexterity modifier per long rest.

Reaper's Toll

When reducing a creature to 0 hit points you may pay the Reaper's Toll to gain advantage on all attacks until the end of your next turn

Infinite Void

As an action, you may drive the blade of this sword into the ground, in doing so cast darkness at 2nd level. Any creatures you chose may see through the darkness. You may do this three times before requiring a long rest.
Random Properties. The Reaper's Toll, Token of the Infinite Void has the following random properties:

  • 1 minor beneficial property
  • 2 major beneficial properties
  • 2 minor detrimental properties
  • 1 major detrimental property


Destroying the Reaper's Toll, Token of the Infinite Void. Can only be destroyed by Death himself.
