Scallop Crest Armor

Medium Armor
Cost Armor Class (AC) Strength Stealth Weight
300 gp 14 + Dex modifier (max 2) Str 11 Disadvantage 15 lb.

This armor is accentuated by several pieces of plate hewn together with a pattern like that of a scallop shell. The main pauldrons, knee guards and breastplate are made of metal that, though thin and light, have been altered in structure so as to best disperse the force of blows and help withstand hits better than flat plated armors. This design resembles the ridges of a scallop shell The extra metal mail within makes it a bit heavier, but it is notably lighter and more efficient than other heavier armors. It is perfect for knights and swifter fighters in a cavalry, or just plain beginners. Regardless it's pros, however, the metal used to construct it still remains easy to shift and a bit too noisy for sneaking around.

Reflective

This armor's structurally sound construction and anglings also makes it a bit more reflective than regular armor, even when it may be dull or tarnished. When in bright light and wearing this armor, Wisdom (Perception) checks to look at you roll with disadvantage.

Squeeze

The way the metal is functionally dented sometimes makes it harder to perform certain maneuvers. When wearing this armor, you have disadvantage in Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
