Arcane

Arcane as an element means that the Planar Form is the embodiment of magic, dazzling opponents with confusion effects. Arcane is known for its abilities to confuse opponents and its defensive powers.

Allied Elements

  • Fire: Heat, Combustion
  • Water: Ice, Frost, Steam, Mist, Fog
  • Earth: Plants, Sand, Metal, Wood, Lava, Magma, Nature
  • Air: Flight, Sound, Astral Projection

Elemental Effect: Confusion

Confuse (chance, rounds): If a natural roll higher than the chance parameter is rolled on an attack with confusion, the target is confused. Confused targets write down each enemy followed by each ally (including themselves) and then roll a D10 and go down the list to see whom they attack. If there is no entry on the list for the number rolled then they may choose their target and the confusion is ended. If a target is already confused, add the number of rounds for this effect to the duration. Example: Riaka is fighting alone against 6 planar sprites. A sprite confuses Riaka and on her turn she attempts to use light beam to destroy a sprite. She writes down each sprite (with a number) on a piece of paper followed by her name. The paper would read: Sprite A -- 1, Sprite B -- 2, Sprite C -- 3, Sprite D -- 4, Sprite E -- 5, Sprite F -- 6, Riaka -- 7. She then rolls a D10, and gets a 7. Bad luck! Riaka hits herself with the light beam in her confusion. Had she rolled anywhere from 1 to 6 she would have hit a sprite.
