Weapon (any axe or sword), rare A bane weapon is a magic weapon meant to kill a particular kind of creature. Some are more focused than others; for example, there are both orc bane longswords and tanarukk bane longswords. If a creature belonging to the alignment, type, race, or group associated with a bane weapon takes damage from the weapon, the creature takes an extra 3d6 necrotic damage. |
