Death's Scythe
9th-level Necromancy (ritual)
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: Self
Components: V,S,M(a sacrifice (must be a sentient being that must be something you care about and would consider you an ally/friend and equal or similar to you e.g you cant bring around a bunch of servants to sacrifice), something as tribute for Death (DM's discretion, but probably expensive or pie if they're a Supernatural fan) which Death chooses from your party's inventory or that you will later get, which the spell consumes)
Duration: 1 minute

You make a deal with Death for ultimate power. This spell comes at a heavy cost, but many would consider it worthwhile. When you complete this ritual, you summon Death, who then lends you their scythe. The scythe deals 10d12 necrotic damage, is considered magic with a +5 to attack and damage rolls, and overcomes all resistances and immunities. You cannot be disarmed of the scythe, even when unconscious, however you can give it to a creature. The scythe has the Finesse, Reach and Two Handed properties. A creature hit with this weapon cannot heal the damage taken. When the duration ends, Death comes to collect on your end of the deal. You must choose who you are to sacrifice and kill them with the scythe. Death then takes the corpse and soul of the being, along with their Scythe. They cannot be revived by any means. Death can decline the sacrifice if they know you are trying to scam them and will make you sacrifice another being. You can try to double cross Death, however you will one day suffer the consequences (up to the DM's discretion, however end of the world/TPK are some of my suggestions). Death is resistant to damage done by their Sythe. Death can take their tribute whenever they choose, or choose to task you with retrieving something for them. Alternatively, Death can task you with completing a quest for them.
