Weapon (greatsword), legendary

The profaned greatsword is a once-ceremonial blade wielded by a corrupted tyrant. Imbued with a great essence of fire, the blade's impressive appearance is second only to its effectiveness in the right hands.

Magic Weapon. The profaned greatsword is a magical weapon that grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

Charged Attack. A charged attack takes two actions to execute, but deals an additional 1d6 fire damage. On hit, the enemy must succeed on a Strength saving throw of DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier or be knocked prone.

Profaned Flame. The profaned greatsword can be momentarily engulfed in flame. While applied, attacks with the sword deal an additional 1d6 fire damage. This takes one action and the effects last for up to one minute. This ability may only be used once and recharges after a short or long rest.

Rising Slash. Immediately after activating the Profaned Flame buff, you may perform a charged attack for only one action. This may only be done following Profaned Flame.

Note: The Charged attack applies its own fire-based damage which can stack with the Profaned Flame buff's fire damage.
