This weapon deals different kinds of damage depending on the attack:

-The hook and blade deal slashing damage.

-The pointed end and the hand guard deal piercing damage.

The hooked end can be used to make a disarming attack. If you are proficient with this weapon, you may add your proficiency bonus to the disarm check.

If you are wielding two of these weapons, you may hook them togeather giving the weapon the Reach property. This kind of attack deals slashing damage. You may only do this once per Attack action and there must be an Action between the uses such as doing a normal Attack or casting a spell.
