Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement; to attune you must have used the blade to slay a close friend or loved one)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic longsword, and unlike a typical longsword it has the reach property. The hilt is black and the edge of the silver blade is a scarlet red jewel.

If you use this sword to damage a living creature, it must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw at the end of the current turn. On a success, the creature is brought to unhappy thoughts of loved ones. On a failure, the creature breaks out crying and falls prone. A creature without loved ones, such as a typical construct or some forms of undead, is unaffected.
