Unless it comes in contact with something, a boomerang is designed to return to their owner after being throw. While normal boomerangs are made out of plywood, and used for hunting, an edged boomerang is much more lethal, and better suited for combat. They are made out of steel and have been given a proper handle, allowing them to be used in both melee and ranged combat.
