Armor (scale mail), legendary (requires attunement)

Considered a divine treasure to many, the Armor of the Feathered Wing is a set of armor forged directly in the Elemental Plane of Air, not only giving its wearer protection from incoming attacks but a burst of speed and stronger control while flying as well. Stories even tell of the armor being forged by the aarakocra goddess Syranita herself, giving it an other-worldly presence when worn. The flexible, metal-like material that the armor is made out of is unknown and has yet to be identified.

Feather-Forged. This armor was designed for use by inhabitants of the Elemental Plane of Air. As such, this set of armor can only be worn by Medium humanoid bird-like races such as the aarakocra. The set of armor does not include footwear, does not need to be altered to fly in, and has been forged to accommodate wings, tail feathers, or other appendages that assist in flight. Finally, this armor weighs about 12 lbs. and is treated as Light Armor, meaning that you may add your entire Dexterity modifier to your AC.

Wings of Steel. Wearing the armor grants you an additional 10 feet of flying speed and a bonus to Acrobatics skill checks you make equal to half your Dexterity modifier, rounded down. Additionally, you cannot be grappled or restrained and gain advantage on all Dexterity saving throws while flying or hovering in the air.

Flyby. You don't provoke opporitunity attacks when flying out of an enemy's reach.
