Starting the SRD Creatures page[edit]

So I want to have a text box and button for creating creatures/monsters that would belong in the SRD section, but I don't know if we would need to use the one that we use for the homebrew creatures, or build one with separate variables for SRD creatures. Any thoughts? Clockwerk66 (talk) 10:03, 26 August 2016 (MDT)

Can you try adding a few from the SRD to see how they work with the existing monster template? --Green Dragon (talk) 12:26, 26 August 2016 (MDT)
Well that's the thing: I'm not sure how to do add a new creature without it accidentally being transported over to the homebrew list. Clockwerk66 (talk) 13:52, 26 August 2016 (MDT)
I've changed Template:5e Monster List so that it doesn't list pages that have Category:SRD. Marasmusine (talk) 15:59, 26 August 2016 (MDT)

MAINTENANCE WARNING. Okay, I'm cranking up AWBrowser now to add Category:User to all pages that transclude Template:5e Creature. The next step will be to add it to the preload and remove it from the template. Marasmusine (talk) 12:29, 27 August 2016 (MDT)

Maintenance has finished, you can use the Creature template for SRD creatures now (if you use the preload remember to remove the User category) Marasmusine (talk) 16:46, 27 August 2016 (MDT)

Thank you very much Maramusine! I'll get around to cracking open the Monsters Manual and start getting to work soon! :) Clockwerk66 (talk) 17:09, 27 August 2016 (MDT)

Template[edit]

There is a template listed in the SRD: the Half-Dragon template, along with the example Half-Red Dragon Veteran. SirSprinkles (talk) 16:39, 3 September 2016 (MDT)

Weird text placment[edit]

Hey, I just want to point out that some of the text are in really weird places, most notably the section on Armor, Weapon, and Tool Proficiencies is in the middle of the senses section, then the Grapple Rules for Monsters are under the limited useage heading and Modifying Creatures is under size.
