Yeehongu fanatics are members among the gnolls who are particularly well-versed in rituals concerning their god, Yeehongu, Lord of Ruin. Due to Yeehongu's limited influence and power, he cannot easily manifest himself in the Material Realm as he wills, thus requiring the aid of his fanatics and their prayers. As part of his grand scheme to reduce the world to charred ash and carnage, Yeehongu's fanatics are depraved individuals who commit grisly rituals in preparation for the day their god will reign supreme. As part of their job as heralds for the foul and evil god, these fanatics are granted powers to take the shape of foul creatures befitting Yeehongu's tastes for death and rot. |
